I always hear girls say they get along better with males, but I've always had very close female friends. I mean, with the exception of my law school friends, my other friends and I have been close since we were 12.
I get along with guys too, but my close friends have always been female. And, we never have had any big, friendship altering problems.
I don't get why so many girls don't get along with each other. I really don't get it.
Uhhh...so, to answer your question...I don't know. ;)
I'm the same as Reese. My very best friends are all female or gay men. I have close male friends but I get along better with women.
Oh, this is what my macintosh dictionary adds to your definition of male:
We speak of a male ancestor, a masculine scent, and a manly activity, but only of women as mannish. While all of these adjectives apply to what is characteristic of the male of the species (particularly the human species), male can refer to plants or animals as well as human beings and is used to describe whatever is biologically distinguished from the female sex (: an all-male choir; a male cat; a male holly bush). Masculine refers to the qualities, characteristics, and behaviors associated with or thought to be appropriate to men and boys (: a masculine handshake). Manly emphasizes the desirable qualities that a culture associates with a mature man, such as courage and independence (: the manly virtues; the manly sport of football). Manful differs from manly primarily in its emphasis on sturdiness and resoluteness (: a manful effort to hold back tears). Virile is a stronger word than masculine or manly and is applied only to mature men; it suggests the vigor, muscularity, and forcefulness—and especially the sexual potency—associated with mature manhood (: a virile man who looked like Charlton Heston in his youth).
n.missy! thanks for a more indepth descriptive of males.
I have girlfriends. A few close ones, but I never seem to hang out in a crowd of girls. I'm always out numbered by the guys. I find it hassel free and simple to be around guys. Girls can be soo catty, jealous and bitchy.
But I do wish I could have a great friendship circle like sex in the city. Wouldn't that be awesome.
Meeting for brealfast calling each other at any hour. Partying.
My girl friends seem to rather hang out one on one. Or with guys lol. Weird. And most of the time they'd rather be with there boyfriends. When guys don't mind just hanging out with the friends.
